The Edge of Reality

This expressive work continues my practice of capturing cloudscapes as a metaphor for human emotion and experience. Based on my own reference photography of a spectacular sunset over Shoalwater Beach in West Australia, the scene felt almost unreal — prompting questions about perception and authenticity in an age of AI imagery, while inviting a reconnection with the real world through the shared ritual of gathering to watch the sunset.
