“Silver Lining” explores shifting perspectives through fractured transitions within a turbulent sky, where storm clouds and luminous light break and re-form in a state of flux.
The painting is concerned with atmosphere as both physical presence and emotional experience. It holds moments where light breaks through darkness, a break in the clouds, a sudden clarity on the horizon, suggesting that even at times of instability there are moments of calm, wonder, and renewal.
