Oceanic Poolside Mural
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The client wanted an ocean-inspired mural as a surprise for their husband, and to make the pool area a more memorable and engaging space. I designed this energetic composition, which has a real sense of flow and motion. It includes subtle nods to the husband’s hobbies of fishing and sailing, with leaping whiting and a blissful yacht sailing into the sunset. We coordinated the painting of the mural while the couple were away on holiday, so it would be a complete surprise when they returned. I’m happy to say he was blown away.
CLIENT FEEDABCK
“Working with Mish on a mural as a gift for my husband was a pleasure from start to finish. The mural was a combined special birthday and retirement gift for my sea loving husband with Mish creating a design that encompassed many of the elements he loves. Mish provided many options for the initial design and worked closely with my daughter and I right until the end – tweaking final colours and design touches. A last minute holiday meant the mural was painted by Mish whilst we were away with the “reveal” a true surprise on our return home.My husband and I were both absolutely thrilled with the end result. “
